“My son Michael lost his life to a drug overdose on November 8, 2016. In high school, Michael was a star athlete in football, track and swimming. Drug addiction has no boundaries and doesn’t discriminate. My family and I believe that part of the problem is lack of education on the issue. In an effort to honor Michael’s memory and help others become aware of the dangers of drug addiction, we organized The Michael Sena Memorial Fund. Education on this issue has to be started at a young age and reinforced throughout the school years. PREP has embraced this challenge and are committed to helping fight this epidemic that is plaguing our society.”
